This commision was for The Islay Inn, 1256 Argyle Street, Glasgow, G3 8TJ, Which is a fantastic live music pub, with folk sessions twice a week and live bands two or three nights.
The murals subject matter is very close to my heart, the proccess began with me attending sessions with my double bass and trying to keep up! I photographed the musicians during these sessions then composed the mural in photoshop before painting the artwork in aerosol, acrylic and enamel on two lightwieght panels.
