classic victorian text, Gold leaf and enamel on board
this was my first crack at style I had loved for years, when painting this on site I was approached by an elderly gentleman who had worked at the former Springburn rail works and remembered seeing people doing this kind of work on the engines, he said it made his day as he thought no-one could do this kind of work anymore, a compliment which made my day in turn.
